![]() Over the holiday period it has been good to get out and about around Christchurch and see the creative spirit in the city still alive and kicking. Where devastation and demolition has occurred due to the earthquakes, it has been filled with colour and energy. Most of the art will be temporary but it has invigorated and inspired passers by over the difficult months. The effects that art and creativity is having on the city is truly amazing. On my travels I stumbled on site that seemed to be a playground but was actually a series of musical intruments. I spent a good hour watching the reactions of tourists and locals enjoying the fun, sounds and colour. I mean to spend more time out and about soon. This image courtesy of the Rebuild Canterbury site is located near to the old Metro cinema. It's one of my favourites at the moment.
