We were very happy to host a little talk about Art Box Gallery to the Rangiora art group this week with tutor Christine Watton who is one of our artists here at the gallery. Like minded art lovers shared about their art journeys and we were glad to let them know a little about the history of how we came to be a gallery and  about the artists we represent. A pleasant afternoon for all.

Now that tourists are able to travel to New Zealand again we are delighted that we are having overseas visitors return to the gallery. Recently, this lovely couple from Houston, Texas came in at the end of their trip having found us online. They chose this stunning large original painting by Florence Egasse to take home to remind them of their trip to NZ. We had a great time chatting about their travels and they enjoyed our large selection of NZ art. We were able to pack ship and insure the work via our local Pack and Send Papanui couriers and it arrived safe a little over a week afterwards!
