The Christchurch Community Arts Council (CCAC) is a voluntary incorporated body made up of elected members of the Christchurch arts community. CCAC's prime objectives are to:

- Encourage and promote the practice, appreciation and enjoyment of all forms of artistic activity in Christchurch.
- Act as an advocate for community arts in Christchurch.
- Make grants and subsidies available for community arts projects.
- Undertake any other activities that it determines are for the benefit of community arts in Christchurch.
