Barbara Franklet Mockingbird Studio visit

A recent trip to Nelson in the upper South Island to touch base with Art Box Gallery artists was most enjoyable. Barbara Franklets'  'Mockingbird Studio' in Nile Street was a pleasant highlight of the trip. This talented artist has a lovely set up in the studio where she works and the combined gallery space where she sells and exhibits both her originals and her prints and cards. Her welcoming smile and bubbly personality ring true in her whimsical, happy artwork.  Barbara has made a successful business over a number of years of her art and is a regular exhibitor at the Wellington Affordable Art Show as well as other national and international spaces.  We are delighted to have come away with some more of Barbara's artwork for Art Box in Christchurch and we have sold all her work to date.
