Sarah is a self taught painter and work exclusively in oils. She has been creative her whole life, but only started painting 15 years ago. She originally specialized in still life and also enjoyed quirky styles of art.
Her best love is painting abstract landscapes, which come completely from her imagination. When she starts to create a work she has no idea how a painting will evolve - but loves that moment where she sees and knows which direction to go in.
Her paintings have been described as 'deconstructed landscapes' and she feels this is an apt description of her work - although painted abstractly, there is a clear element of nature. '
