Rebecca Herring
Rebecca's love of art began at a very early age, being inspired by the works of her ancestors. Edith Munnings (NZ) and her cousin Sir Alfred Munnings (UK) were noted artists who impacted the art world. Like many of her other family members, art is in Rebecca's DNA. Her creative side led straight towards being an artist after early years as a hairstylist. A passion for design led to the creation of the clothing and textile label,'"Artstyle", which used art as the base of the brand. After 15 years of Artstyle, Rebecca took the leap to spend her days in the studio painting and creating pieces that needed time to evolve.
With a style that has varied through the years Rebecca loves to adapt her approach to each painting. She explores ways to enhance interior spaces with tonal colour, themes, and, most of all, meaning. Rebecca has exhibited in various shows and galleries and welcomes commissions.
