Jody Hope Gibbons
Born in 1966, Jody paints full-time in her Matakana studio and has works held in private collections here and throughout the world. Her work pushes the boundaries of traditional painting practice and techniques- from her bright abstract works to her painterly , ethereal landscape series . A separate body of her current work also explores her interest in recycling found materials and discovering the beauty in these objects and presenting them in a new light. She is an established New Zealand artist and exhibits her work in galleries around the North and South Islands.
