Jane McIntosh
Jane works from her studio in Culverden, North Canterbury. The farm, her multiple dog and horse companions are her source of painting inspiration which ends up on paper or canvas using oils, watercolours and charcoal. Family and friends appear too in her work. She enjoys taking classes with established artists such as Grant Banbury, Nigel Buxton and Alison Ryde. She is represented by a number of galleries around New Zealand and has won awards such as the winner of the Aspiring Art show in 2012 as well as being a finalist in the Adam Portrait Award. Jane is always experimenting with her art and painting allows her to interact with different people and to travel. She accepts commissions.
