Deanna Gracie

"Creativity is a place of endless possibility, a safe haven allowing escape from reality. Painting the idiosyncrasies of the human condition is an intuitive process, which includes letting go of any preconceived ideas and taking a leap of faith and having blind trust. It involves expressing whatever Deanna is feeling at that moment through gestures, mark making and use of multiple layers of paint to conceal and reveal. There is a real sense of achievement in a finished painting, of another discovery made and another story told.
